Steinbach Millennium Angel

This Millennium Angel nutcracker is one of several themed designs that Steinbach released in 2000 to celebrate a momentous occasion - the turn of the millenium. Donning a golden dress and a crown of flowers, the Millennium Angel holds a globe and wishes all peace on earth. The Millennium Angel had a limited run of 2,000 nutcrackers, many of which were signed by Herr Steinbach himself. At the time, it was uncommon for Steinbach to produce female nutcrackers since, traditionally, nutcrackers were considered guardians or protectors - just look at those ferocious teeth. Between her gorgeous design, heartfelt message, and rarity as a female Steinbach nutcracker, the Millennium Angel is that much more of a unique nutcracker!
