"Stonewall" Thomas Prototype Design

The General Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson nutcracker on the left in the bright blue coat is an early 2000s nutcracker produced by Steinbach as part of their US Generals collection. He features gold detailing on his coat and sleeves, wooden buttons on his slouch hat, and hand-painted gold lettering on his belt buckle. The General Jackson nutcracker to the right may seem like a well-produced dupe, but it is also made by Steinbach. The darker coat was a production error while the company was prototyping the nutcracker’s final design, making this nutcracker an even rarer find than the official released version.
